Tangalooma Sands is located within the Tangalooma Island Resort on Moreton Island in Queensland, Australia.

The resort can be accessed by the Tangalooma Island Resort passenger ferry which departs from Pinkenba 4 times per day. Alternatively you can bring your 4WD vehicle on the MICAT vehicle ferry which departs from the Port of Brisbane.

Villa 47 is located at the quieter end of the resort about a 10 minute walk from the Tangalooma ferry or if coming on the MICAT a short drive from the ferry to the carpark located right next to the villa.
